Recruitment takes place in January and February 2026. In the first week of March a visit to the UKW Laboratory of Physical Effort in Bydgoszcz is planned, including a medical interview, body composition assessment, blood collection before the start of supplementation and a psychological questionnaire. Subsequent tests will take place the day before the start, immediately after the run, three hours after finishing the run and the day after the event.
Will participants receive test results?
Blood for hematological analysis will be taken at points 0 and 2. Participants should receive the results of this analysis within a week from the date of collection.
Is a muscle biopsy mandatory?
No. A fine-needle biopsy of the quadriceps will be performed for volunteers at points 0 and 2. Willingness to participate in this test should be indicated in the application form.
What does supplementation in the project involve?
The organizers plan two supplementation protocols covering an extended supplementation period of about 6–8 weeks before the start. The project will analyze supplementation with coenzyme Q10 and omega-3 fatty acids.
Will supplements be paid for?
No. According to the schedule, participants will be introduced to the supplementation procedure and will receive high-quality supplements free of charge.
Will it be possible to learn about the hydrogen generator HOCELL during the event?

If it turns out that there will be a larger group, an assessment of the use of poles in ultra-distance races on the post-exercise response of the body may be possible. If there are few such people, the organizers may ask them not to use poles.
What classifications will there be?
There will be an OPEN classification for women and men for places I–III and age categories W and M: 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60+. In the age categories only first places will be awarded. People classified in the Open category will not be classified in the age categories.
Will there be a deposit?
Yes. On race day, from 7:00–19:00, there will be a deposit facility. Personal items should be packed into bags and labeled with the race bib number. Bags will be issued upon presentation of the race bib number.
What to do in case of withdrawal from the race?
Competitors who withdraw or do not finish the race are obliged to report their withdrawal to race staff, remove their race bib and go to the race office. The organizers emphasize that in case of withdrawal from completing the full distance it is necessary to inform someone from the project organizers.
